In 2012, it expanded the business in the Middle East Market by establishing a branch in Dubai, UAE, licensed and regulated by Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC). Our specialty isn’t just limited to diamonds South Africa and other Eastern parts of Africa. With expertise in diamond buying, especially rough diamonds, Raydiam has outshined the trading of rough and polished diamonds, nurturing the needs of prospects in the international markets.
Raydiam thrives under the leadership of Jamal Joseph Hamed, a well-known business personality icon in the field of diamond trading. Being the founder of multiple businesses, Jamal progressively chairs this three generations old business and expanded it locally and in the international markets.
He willingly and passionately seeks to decipher the future in his business through facts, figures, projections, market research and co-relations. This approach makes him one of the most trusted and successful persons in the Diamond Industry. With a vast experience of more than 15 years, he worked in Sierra Leone, Antwerp, Belgium. Now, Jamal is successfuly running his own global business.
The imported goods are sorted and graded according to the requirements of clients and market demand by our Dubai-based Diamond Company. Then, these are re-sold to proposed customers based in the Middle East, India and The United States of America.
